YOUNG SISTERS’ CIRCLE is a tribal collective of
wisdom devoted to the nurturing and rising up of the young women of
our Tribes. The focus: to uplift and inspire the artistic and natural
talents of young women, mentoring them through the fullness of
support, mission and purpose. Each class will be an each-one-teach-
one philosophy dedicated to allowing the wisdom of the elders of our
tribe to filter down to the up-and-coming leaders.
START DATE: SATURDAY FEBRUARY 27, 2010 TIME: 2-5pm (on-going)

HOST: MOMA YAHIMBA UHURU
COST: $15.00/MONTH (for all supplies and food)
AGES: 13 THROUGH 17
CLASSES INCLUDE: SEWING, VEGETARIAN COOKING, HERBOLOGY,
SEKERE LESSONS (INCLUDES MAKING THE SEKERE) , NUTRITION,
JEWELERY MAKING, COMMUNITY SERVICE, DEVELOPING GOOD
STUDY SKILLS, JOURNALING, OUTINGS, YOGA, MEDITATION,
NATURAL HAIR CARE, MAKING OUR OWN BODY CARE PRODUCTS,
EXERCISE, ETC.
VEGAN LUNCH WILL BE SERVED TO THE YOUNG LADIES AT EACH
MEETING.
CALLING ALL MOMAS WHO WOULD LOVE TO TEACH A SKILL OR BE A
SPEAKER ON CERTAIN SUBJECTS PERTAINING TO YOUNG WOMEN.
